HELPFUL HINTS:

·        CHARACTER: Make us believe the story of this broken relationship. Be very serious with your facial expressions and stay in character.

·        MOOD: Show the big contrast between the ‘sad but hopeful’ mood of the verses – and the ‘high energy and feeling strong’ mood of the chorus

·        MOVEMENT: Try performing some of the song sitting / lying, and some standing / moving. Up to you how you do this.

·        INTERACTION:

o SOLO: Interact with us (the audience) with your facial expressions, eye contact and movement as if you are having the telephone conversation with us. *Please avoid holding a phone to your ear the whole time.

o PARTNER: Interact with your partner to fit the drama of the song (this could really WOW us), but also connect with us the audience.

Play with your body positions. For example: one person facing someone who is facing away, then it changing. Or two people very far apart, then close together in the space.
